Component Traceability.
Accu provides comprehensive component traceability, including full Country of Origin (COO) and precise melt lot tracking back to the source mill. While a standard signed Certificate of Conformity accompanies every order, detailed melt lot data and origin documentation must be requested in advance. Additional material certification, commodity codes, and export classifications are available through the channels outlined below.
Traceability and Certification.
Q: Can Accu trace a component’s country of origin?
A: Contact our Customer Solutions Team before placing your order to confirm availability, specifying the components and batch sizes required. Traceability cannot be created retrospectively once an order has been dispatched, and may not be available for all components.
Q: Can Accu provide certification for my components?
A: A signed Certificate of Conformity is included with every order. This is emailed to you and can also be downloaded from the order summary page. For additional or custom certification requirements (such as material certification or PPAP), submit your request through our Custom Manufacture portal before placing the order. Additional certification cannot be created retrospectively.
Trade Classification and Export Controls.
Q: Can Accu provide commodity codes (HS codes) for my components?
A: For the most up-to-date HS codes and duty rates, consult the USITC Harmonised Tariff Schedule or the relevant tariff authority for your country. Note that the correct code is often dependent on your specific application, so Accu may not be able to determine it on your behalf.
Q: Can Accu provide export classification (ECCN) numbers for my components?
A: For the most up-to-date ECCN classifications, consult the Commerce Control List (CCL) maintained by the Bureau of Industry and Security. ECCN numbers are dependent on intended use, so Accu cannot assign this classification on your behalf.
