The cone-shaped point of these components also allows them to centralise themselves in pre-drilled holes, which can increase efficiency on automated assembly lines.

For applications where an angular point is not required, a Cup Point Set Screw or alternatively a Flat Point Set Screw may be preferable. The hexagon socket drive of these components is ideal for use with one of Accu’s Hexagon Socket Drive Bits.

Imperial Socket Cone Point Grub Screws are manufactured in diameters from No. 2 up to 3/8 inch, and lengths of between 1/8 inch and 2 inch, with additional sizes available on customer request.
