Socket Flat Point Set Screws (sometimes called Grub Screws), are intended for applications which require a threaded fastener with no protruding head. The flat tip of these components has a large surface area, which can prevent damage to a target housing. The hexagon socket drive of Socket Flat Point Set Screws allows them to be easily operated with a Hex Key, or one of Accus’ Hexagon Drive Bits.
Socket Flat Point Set Screws can be manufactured from a wide range of materials, including Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Phosphor Bronze and PEEK. Additional finishes such as Chemical Blackening are also available on all Stainless Steel components.
Metric Socket Flat Point Set Screws are manufactured in diameters ranging from M1.6 to M16, and lengths of between 2.00mm and 190.00mm. Non-standard sizes and dimensions can also be manufactured on request.
Imperial components within this range are available in diameters of between No.3 and 3/8 inch, and lengths of between 1/8 inch and 2 inch.
