Metric Socket Cap Head Screws feature an internal socket drive that is designed for use with a Hex Key, otherwise known as an Allen Key. With the terms ‘socket’ and ‘allen’ being so interchangeable within engineering, this explains why these fasteners are also commonly referred to as Allen Key Bolts or Socket Screws.

Screws within this range are available in either a fully threaded or partially threaded form, with the latter featuring an unthreaded portion below the head of the screw. The distinction of whether the screw is fully threaded or not is detailed in each individual product specification. If a larger unthreaded portion is required, Accu's range of Socket Shoulder Screws range may be more suitable, depending upon your application.

Imperial Cap Head Screws
Imperial Socket Cap Head Screws are supplied in sizes between #0 (No. 0) and ¾ inches. Lengths of between 3/32 inch and 5.½ inches are available as standard, and are manufactured in both fully and partially threaded varieties.
