Nuts are a widely-used internally threaded retaining device, generally used to securely fasten a threaded screw against a target housing. Nuts are available in a number of varieties, from Hexagon and Square Nuts, to more specialist Cage Nuts and Tee Nuts.
Nuts and Bolts are commonly used together to create a fastening which can be secured and adjusted from both sides. A very common Nut and Bolt configuration is Hexagon Nuts used alongside Hexagon Bolts.

Many ranges of Nuts are available in a selection of materials, including metals such as Aluminium, Titanium, and various grades of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel and Bumax Stainless Steels. Other materials include Plastics, such as Nylon, PVDF, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate and PEEK Engineering Thermoplastic. Our Stainless Steel Nuts are an ideal companion to Accu's ranges of Precision Screws, with additional finishes such as Chemical Matte Blacking available for Stainless Nuts.
Hexagon Nuts are one of the most common Nuts in Accu's range. These components are hexagonal in shape, allowing for adjustment with a wrench, or even by hand.
Fine Pitch Threaded Nuts
Fine Pitch Hexagon Nuts are ideal for applications requiring increased strength and reduced misalignment. Finer threads have greater point-to-point surface contact, and create stronger fastenings by utilising a greater number of threads within the same threaded length. Thin Fine Pitch Hexagon Nuts are also available.
Left Hand Threaded Nuts
Accu has a large range of left-hand threaded nuts and hardware that are intended for use alongside our left-hand threaded screws and Left Hand Threaded Bar.
