A type of Retaining Ring that is C-shaped, this component is designed to fit into an internal groove within a bore. Acting as an assembly aid, Round Wire Snap Ring for Bores are used to hold components in place within the housing, preventing lateral movement.
These components work in a similar manner to Internal Circlips, however Snap Rings are not fitted with specially formed ends which aid installation and removal through the use of compatible circlip pliers.
