What are Wire Snap Rings For Bores?
A type of Retaining Ring that is C-shaped, this component is designed to fit into an internal groove within a bore. Acting as an assembly aid, Round Wire Snap Ring for Bores are used to hold components in place within the housing, preventing lateral movement.
These components work in a similar manner to Internal Circlips, however Snap Rings are not fitted with specially formed ends which aid installation and removal through the use of compatible circlip pliers.

Materials.
As standard, Accu’s Round Snap Rings are manufactured in 303 Stainless Steel (A1). A chemical matte black finish is also available for this type of Snap Ring.

Produced in accordance with DIN 9926, which replaced DIN 7993B, our range of Round Wire Snap Rings for Bores are available in bore diameters ranging from 7mm to 60mm, with thicknesses from 0.6mm to 3.2mm.
