What are Thumb Screws?
Thumb Screws are part of Accu's extensive range of Precision Screws. They are designed to be easily operated by hand, and are used in a wide range of machine and computer applications. One of the main characteristics of a Thumb Screw is its large head diameter, which is usually knurled - this feature allows these components to be securely tightened without the use of tools. Unlike other low-quality components, Accu's Thumb Screws are manufactured from solid Stainless Steel, giving excellent overall strength.
A large head diameter also allows these screws to be tightened with a greater degree of rotational accuracy, making Thumb Screws ideal for applications where precise tightness must be achieved.
