Thin Castle Nuts are a reduced-height version of Accu’s standard Castle Nuts. These components feature a castellated top, which allows them to lock in place when used alongside a horizontal locking pin. The pin is inserted through a hole in the screw itself, and between the slots of the nut, which creates a locked, vibration-resistant fastening.

Materials

These components can be manufactured from A2 and A4 Stainless Steel. Chemical Black Coatings can also be applied on request.

Metric Thin Castle Nuts

Thin Castle Nuts are compliant with DIN 937, and are available in metric thread diameters from M6 up to M30. Widths range from 10mm to 46mm (A/F), and lengths are available from 3.50mm up to 11.00mm.
