What are Threaded Bars?
Threaded Bar, also called Threaded Rod, is a multi-purpose fastening component used in a wide variety of industrial applications. Accu's range of Precision Screws includes Threaded Bars which are available in several varieties, including right-hand thread, left-hand thread, and double-ended combination thread. A selection of Threaded Bar Connector Nuts is also available.
Threaded Bar is not to be confused with Accu's range of Leadscrews. Threaded Bars are for fastening, whereas Leadscrews are usually used to translate a turning motion to a linear motion.
These components are available in both A2 and A4 Stainless Steel. Aluminium, Nylon, and Titanium Threaded Bars can also be manufactured on request.
Metric Threaded Bars.
Metric Threaded Bar is available in diameters ranging from M2 up to M20, and lengths of between 25.00mm and 1000.00mm. Our most commonly ordered threaded bars are M8, M10 and M12 Threaded bars. M10 threaded bars are sometimes referred to as 10mm threaded rods.
