Accu Shortlisted For Innovation And Enterprise Award
After a strong end to 2021, Accu has kicked off the new year by being shortlisted for the Innovation and Enterprise Award at the Huddersfield Examiner & YorkshireLive Business Awards.
The black tie event is the largest and longest-standing business awards in the Kirklees and Calderdale region, celebrating the successes within the local business community.
Returning to the John Smith’s Stadium, following the event’s last outing in 2019, the evening promises to be worth the wait, after the pandemic resulted in the awards being postponed in 2020.
The Innovation and Enterprise award, sponsored by the University of Huddersfield, celebrates new ideas, processes, services, technologies and products that have directly impacted on the success of an organisation. Judges will assess the practicality and application of the innovation(s) and, in turn, the measurable benefits to the business.
On being shortlisted, our Co-Founder/ Commercial Director Martin commented;
“History has shown that crises drive innovation, and that has certainly been the case during COVID-19. Many manufacturers around the world ‘pivoted’, which led to an exponential increase in innovation. Engineers were able to cut through needless red tape and move much more quickly than they ever had before. More clients were relying on us for prototype components than we had ever known - the service completely skyrocketed. We’re now focusing on reinvesting our profits to improve our service, with new technological releases set for later this year.”
It’s fantastic to see the efforts of our teams being recognised by our local business awards and we look forward to attending the event on 24th March 2022.
