Metal Threaded Inserts are designed to plug the end of the tube for a neat finish, while also providing a threaded hole. They are commonly used as metal threaded inserts for wood, plastic and metal furniture legs to allow feet, tilt glides and castors to be fixed in place.

The range includes sizes M6 to M12 threaded inserts for metal tube, plastic or wood in round or square styles. There is also rectangular threaded inserts in M8 to M10 sizes. The square, rectangular and round M8 threaded insert for wood, plastic or metal tubes is particularly popular for bolting adjustable feet or leveling feet to hollow legs on furniture such as work benches, chairs, tables and shelving units. They are easy to install and they have a metal thread for a smooth repeatable adjustment process. The plastic inserts are made from HDPE in Grey Ral 7042.

Accu has a large range of threaded inserts for metal tubing in size M6 to M12. They can also be used as a threaded insert for wood or plastic applications. Similar products include ‘All Metal Threaded Inserts’ which are made from steel for heavy duty applications.
