Metric Socket Cup Point Set Screws (also called Hollow Point Grub Screws) are fitted with a concave cup point, which allows them to fit closely against a rounded surface such as a motor shaft. 

Cup Point Set Screws are specially designed to hold components in place with pressure from the tip, rather than fastening against the threads. Their unique cup point tip allows for the set screw to maintain the best possible clamping in comparison to the other available set screws on the market. Cup point set screws have a considerably higher lifespan compared to alternative set screw types.

The socket drive of these components makes them ideal for use alongside Accu's Hex Key and Hexagon Drive Bits ranges.

Grub Screw Materials

Socket Cup Point Set Screw are manufactured in a wide range of materials, including A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Phosphor Bronze and PEEK. Chemical Black Coatings are also available on Stainless Steel components.

Metric Socket Cup Point Set Screws are available in diameters ranging from M1.6 up to M16, and lengths of between 2.00mm and 80.00mm

Imperial

Imperial components within this range are manufactured in a range of diameters, from No. 0 up to ¾ inch, and in lengths from 1/16 inch to 4 inch. Additional non-standard dimensions are also available on request.
