Metric Slotted Spring Pins are designed to fasten the position of two or more machine parts. The primary use of this component is to be inserted through the end of a protruding shaft, preventing the shaft’s release from a hole. The hollow shape and flexibility of Slotted Spring Pins allows them to assume the exact size of an intended hole, and the radial force created by the component’s spring qualities make it a self-retaining fastener.

Materials

Slotted Spring Pins are manufactured from A1 (303) Stainless Steel as standard and are also available in 420 Stainless Steel. Our PX-3 Matte Black Coatings can be applied to Slotted Spring Pins on request.

Metric Slotted Spring Pins

Components in this range are available in a range of external diameters, from 1.00mm up to 14.00mm. Lengths are available from 4.00mm to 120.00mm.

Imperial Slotted Spring Pins

A full range of imperial components is also available in this range. External diameters of between 1/16 inch and ¾ inch are available, with lengths ranging from 3/16 inch to 6 inches.
