These components feature a rounded head, which is often chosen for aesthetic appeal, with the chamfered or curved edges of the head also helping to minimize the risk of the screw head being caught or nicked.

Featuring the popular hexalobular drive, also called Torx or 6lobe, these screws will resist cam-out and allow for higher torque transmission when used alongside Accu’s Hexalobular Torx Drive Bits.

Materials

This type of Self Tapping Screw is available in both A2 and A4 Stainless Steel with a natural self passivating finish, as standard. Our specialist PX-3 Chemical Matte Black option is also available in both 304 and 316 Stainless Steel.
