Pozi Pan Head Polyfix 45 Screws (also called Polyfix 45's) are designed for use with pre-drilled pilot holes in plastic. These components feature a specialised thread forming trilobular thread, which is designed to tap its own thread into a plastic housing. A Polyfix 45 Screw has a thread angle of 45 degrees, making it suitable for use in medium-density plastics. For a sharper thread for softer plastics, a Polyfix 30 variant may be more suitable.
The Pozi drive of this fastener is suitable for use with Accu's range of Pozi Drive Bits and Pozi Screwdrivers.
Materials
Pozi Pan Head Polyfix 45 Screws are manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel as standard. Chemical Matte Blackening is available.
