Metric Threaded Bar, also known as studding or threaded rod, is bar manufactured with a thread to suit a range of standard metric and imperial thread profiles. Threaded Bar is often cut to length and used in fastening applications where factory-standard components are unsuitable.
Threaded Bar has a number of industrial applications, including prototyping projects and heavy-duty tensioning. This range is also fully compatible with our selection of Threaded Bar Connector Nuts.
Materials
Threaded Bar can be manufactured from multiple materials, including Stainless Steel, Hardened Steel, Grade 2 and Grade 5 Titanium, and Nylon 66. Stainless Steel Threaded Bar is available in A1 Stainless Steel, A2 Stainless Steel, A4 Stainless Steel, and A4-80 Stainless Steel.
Metric
Our most popular size of Metric Threaded Bar is M10 (also known as 10mm threaded bar) but our range includes thread sizes from M2 to M20. The Metric Threaded Bar range is available in either full 1.00m lengths, or shorter variations of threaded stud.
Imperial
Imperial Threaded Bar is available as standard in 36 inch lengths, but can be supplied in various shorter lengths on request. Please contact our technical sales team for more information.
