Metal Threaded Inserts are designed to plug the end of the tube for a neat finish, while also providing a threaded hole. They are commonly used as metal threaded inserts for wood, plastic and metal furniture legs to allow feet, tilt glides and castors to be fixed in place.

The square, rectangular and round M8 threaded insert for wood, plastic or metal tubes is particularly popular for bolting adjustable feet or leveling feet to hollow legs on furniture such as work benches, chairs, tables and shelving units. They are easy to install and they have a metal thread for a smooth repeatable adjustment process. The plastic inserts are made from HDPE in Grey Ral 7042.
