AccuScrews’ Locking Nuts are designed to lock in place during installation. The triangular indent on the top of this component is the result of a mechanical punching process, which compresses the top threads of the nut, creating a band of tight threads which act as a locking mechanism.
Accu also offer an enhanced version of All Metal Locking Nuts, known as Aerotight Nuts.
Materials
Components within this range are available in both A2 and A4 Stainless Steel. Chemical Matte Black Coatings can be applied to this range on request.
Metric Locking Nuts
Locking Nuts are manufactured to the DIN 980 standard, and are available in metric diameters ranging from M3 up to M20. Additional sizes can be custom manufactured on request.
