A high torque security bolt, designed to be used as a permanent fixing, the Kinmar Permanent Security Bolt by Hafren Security Fasteners is a 1-way security screw. Featuring unique indentations on the head of the bolt, this patented design can be fastened quickly and easily with the matching Kinmar Permanent Driver Socket tool and can be re-tightened if needed, should the bolt begin to loosen as a result of harsh vibrations.

Common applications for Kinmar Permanent Security Bolts include use on outdoor and street furniture, on public transport and security fencing. These anti tamper bolts are used for crime prevention, adhering to stringent health and safety regulations and providing a premium security solution.

Described as a superior alternative to Shear Bolts, Kinmar Permanent Bolts leave no unplated surfaces following their installation and are capable of withstanding heavy duty attack from would-be vandals.

Accu’s Kinmar® Permanent range also includes the equivalent nut form, the Kinmar Permanent Nut, which can be fastened in the same way as its bolt counterpart, using the matching driver socket.

Materials

Kinmar® Permanent Bolts are manufactured from Case Hardened Steel, with either a Zinc Plated finish (Cr3) or a Geomet® finish.
