The hexagon socket drive of Socket Set Screws allows them to be easily operated with a Hex Key, also commonly known as an Allen Key or Socket Wrench.

Metric Flat Point Grub Screw Materials

Socket Flat Point Set/ Grub Screws can be manufactured from A1, A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, with other materials such as 14.9 Hardened Steel (with or without Zinc Plating), Polycarbonate and PEEK also available. Additional finishes such as Chemical Blackening are also available on all Stainless Steel Grub Screws.
