Metric Socket Head Flat Point Set Screws (also known as Flat Point Grub Screws), are intended for applications which require a threaded fastener with no protruding head. The flat tip of these components has a large surface area, which can prevent damage to a target housing. The hexagon socket drive of Socket Set Screws allows them to be easily operated with a Hex Key, also commonly known as an Allen Key or Socket Wrench.

Metric Flat Point Grub Screw Materials

Socket Flat Point Set/ Grub Screws can be manufactured from A1, A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, with other materials such as 14.9 Hardened Steel (with or without Zinc Plating), Polycarbonate and PEEK also available. Additional finishes such as Chemical Blackening are also available on all Stainless Steel Grub Screws. AccuLock, our specialist Thread Locking Patch can also be applied to Stainless Steel Flat Point Grub Screws to provide increased resistance to vibration, loosening and leakage. For other Flat Point Grub Screw materials, such as Aluminium, please contact our team to request a quotation.

Metric Flat Point Grub Screws

Metric Socket Flat Point Set Screws are manufactured in diameters ranging from M1.6 to M20, and lengths of between 2.00mm and 190.00mm. Non-standard sizes and dimensions can also be manufactured on request.
