The main advantage of Slotted Screws is their versatile and common drive type, which makes them easily adjustable without power tools. The Slotted Drive of a Slotted Screw is also commonly referred to as a Flat Head Screw. Countersunk Screws are intended for use with pre-drilled, countersunk holes, and are designed to allow the head of the screw to sit flush with their target housing.
