Hexalobular Shoulder Screws (also called Torx or 6lobe Shoulder Screws) feature a large, unthreaded portion below the head, which is machined to a very high tolerance of +/-0.025mm. Shoulder screws are primarily used in applications where the component must rotate or slide with high precision. The hexalobular drive of this component is ideal for use with AccuScrews’ Hexalobular Drive Bits.
Hexalobular Shoulder Screws can be manufactured from a variety of materials, including A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Phosphor Bronze and PEEK. Thread Locking Patches and Chemical Blackening can also be applied to all Stainless Steel components.
