    What are O-Rings?

    O Rings also known as a packing or a toric joint, is a mechanical gasket in the shape of a torus. O Ring gaskets fit into a groove and they are designed to compress during assembly to create a seal between two parts. The most popular applications that use these types of o ring seals include fluid and gas sealing applications such as rotating pump shafts and hydraulic cylinder pistons.
