Stainless Steel Screws

What are Stainless Steel Screws?

Accu offers one of the largest standard Stainless Screws ranges in Europe. Components within this range are manufactured from high-quality types of Stainless Steel, which is inherently resistant to corrosion. Stainless Steel Screws are often used in high-precision machinery and controlled environments, where the prevention of rust and corrosion can be crucial to an application.

A wide range of Machine Screws are available in Stainless Steel, including Cap Head Screws, Countersunk Screws, Button Head Screws and Pan Head Screws. Specialised fasteners such as Captive Screws, Vented Screws and Shoulder Screws are also available.

50mm Stainless Steel Screws

50mm Stainless Steel Screws are a very widely-used type of screw, and are available in several different head and drive types. 50mm Stainless Steel Screws are available in thread sizes of between M3 and M30.

100mm Stainless Steel Screws

100mm Stainless Steel Screws are one of the most common lengths of stainless steel screw. 100mm Stainless Steel Screws are manufactured in thread sizes ranging from M4 to M30.

40mm Stainless Steel Screws

40mm Stainless Steel Screws are also a common length of stainless steel screw. 40mm Stainless Steel Screws are available in diameters of between M2.5 and M24.

A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel

Stainless Screws are available in two main materials, A2 and A4 Stainless Steel. A2 Stainless Steel is a general-purpose Stainless Steel, suitable for the majority of applications. A4 Stainless Steel is also known as a marine grade of Stainless Steel, and has increased corrosion resistance for use outdoors and in harsh environments.

What Is The Difference Between Ferritic, Austenitic And Martensitic Stainless Steels?

Bumax Stainless Steel

A range of premium Stainless Steel Bumax fasteners are available in certain ranges. In terms of tensile strength, Bumax 88 and Bumax 109 are comparable to 8.8 and 10.9 Hardened Steel, respectively.

M1 To M36 Metric Thread Sizes

Accu has precision fasteners available in metric sizes of between M1 and M36. Metric thread sizes are common in the UK, and are used predominantly throughout Europe as a modern standard.

No. 0 To 2 Inch Imperial Thread Sizes

Imperial Stainless Screws are available in thread diameters ranging from No. 0 up to 2 inch. Imperial Threads are commonplace in America, and are commonly also found in legacy projects.

Stainless Steel Companion Products

Stainless Steel fasteners can be used alongside Accu’s large range of Stainless Steel companion products, including Stainless Steel Washers, Nuts, Circlips and Bolts. Specialised Stainless components such as Locking Washers and Nylon Locking Nuts are ideal for use alongside Stainless Steel Screws.

Black Stainless Screws

Stainless Screws can be modified with a specialist PX-3 Chemical Matte Black finish on request. This coating allows a fastener to retain all the corrosion resistant properties of Stainless Steel, with an attractive black finish. Unlike other coating methods such as paints, chemical blackening is a conversion coating with minimal effect upon the dimensions of a component.

Thread Locking

Stainless Fasteners can also be modified with an anti-vibration resin locking patch, which resists loosening under vibration. Thread Locking Patches are often required when Screws are being used in applications where strong vibrational forces may be present.

Bespoke Stainless Steel Screws Manufacture

High precision, bespoke manufacture of Stainless Steel Screws to customer specification. State of the art facilities specialising in both small batch prototyping and large scale manufacture.
