Countersunk Sealed Blind Rivets, like their Sealed Dome Rivet counterparts in design and function, feature a central locking mandrel which creates a watertight seal that is also vibration-proof when installed. This eliminates the risk of leakage of gases or liquids, whilst the countersunk shaped rivet head ensures that the fastener sits flush with the mating component.

As Countersunk Sealed Rivets require access to only one side of the assembly during installation, this makes them suitable for ‘blind’ installation.

These rivets are often selected for applications where a pressure tight seal is required, for example in electronics enclosures or white goods where the prevention of moisture leakage is essential.
