Designed for commercial use, this type of anti theft screw features a Clutch Head which helps to secure objects from tampering and prevent them from being easily opened or removed.

The Clutch drive of these security screws features a special ridged design which allows for the screw to only be turned in a clockwise direction, meaning this security screws removal is very difficult without an appropriate removal tool. As a result, this type of tamper proof screw is designed to be a 1-way permanent fixing solution, making it a high security fastener.

These Clutch Head Security Screws feature a machine screw thread, making them suitable for use in tapped holes, or in conjunction with female threaded components such as Hexagon Nuts. The Clutch Head is round in shape, similar to a Button Head Screw, meaning it is free from sharp or pointed edges and is aesthetically pleasing. This also results in increased safety, complimenting these security screws being used in public sector installations.

Installing Clutch Round Head Screws only requires a Slotted Screwdriver, also referred to as a Flat Head Screwdriver, making them simple to fasten manually. However, it’s worth noting that this type of tamper proof screw is designed to be a permanent fixing. To uninstall this component, a security screw removal tool is required.
