C15 Carbon Steel Metric Trapezoidal Lead Screws are designed for highly precise linear actuation. The trapezoidal tooth profile of these Lead Screws gives them enhanced tooth strength, and greater load-bearing capabilities. These components have a tooth angle of 30°, which is slightly shallower than that of an ACME Lead Screw, allowing for enhanced efficiency and greater tooth strength.
Trapezoidal lead Screws are fully compatible with Accu's range of Trapezoidal Lead Screw Nuts.
Trapezoidal Lead Screw Metric Sizes
Trapezoidal Lead Screws in C15 Carbon Steel are available in metric lengths of between 200mm and 3000mm. Diameters range from 10mm up to 80mm. The lead of each C15 Trapezoidal Lead Screw can range from 2mm up to 10mm.
C15 Carbon Steel (1.1141/EN 10084)
Lead Screws within this range are manufactured from C15 grade Carbon Steel, which has a surface hardness of approximately 160-180 HB. C15 Carbon Steel has a lower Carbon content than C45 Carbon Steel, making it less brittle due to fewer impurities.
C45 Carbon Steel Trapezoidal Lead Screws are also available, as well as A2 Stainless Steel Lead Screws and A4 Stainless Steel Lead Screws.
