Armour Rings are a simple and unique conical collar which convert standard Hex Bolts and Hex Nuts into tamper resistant fasteners. As the Armour Ring™ can simply be installed onto any British or DIN standard hexagon nut or bolt using a regular hammer, it requires no specialist tooling to operate.

The patented Armour Ring is intended to be an easy to use 1-Way security fastener. They aren’t governed by torque and are designed to be used for maintenance free applications, giving them some advantage over other similar permanent fixings.

Favoured by Health & Safety executives, along with approval from the Home Office, Armour Rings provide a smooth, clean finish which is free from sharp edges and similar in appearance to a Conical Washer. Common applications for this type of tamper resistant fastener cover are security grilles and for securing public installations such as park benches.

Materials

Security Armour Rings are available from Accu in both Stainless Steel and Bright Zinc Plated Steel. Stainless Steel Armour Rings can be supplied with a Matte Black finish.

Sizes

Security Armour Rings can be used to convert Hexagon Bolts or Nuts into tamperproof fixtures, compatible with metric sizes M6 to M20.
