What are Knurled High Thumb Screws - DIN 464 ?

Knurled High Thumb Screws feature a large cylindrical head with a knurled edge, and are designed to be easily adjusted by hand. An increased head size means that Knurled Thumb screws can be tightened with a greater degree of accuracy.

The addition of a knurled surface on the outside of the head enhances grip and control for installation by hand. Unlike similar lower-quality components, Accu's DIN 464 Thumb Screws are manufactured from one piece of solid Stainless Steel, giving excellent overall strength.

Thumb Screw Variants

Metric Knurled Thumb Screws

Knurled Thumb Screws are manufactured to the DIN 464 standard, and are available in metric diameters of between M3 and M10, and in lengths from 4.00mm up to 30.00mm. Non-standard sizes can also be specially manufactured on request.
